THE TEAM

4ST is a Portuguese company created in 2004 as a consequence of a growing need to help developing the two eminently technological areas such as Comfort and Energy Efficiency.
The following areas are part of a market with a high growing potential which has already a significant national know-how. The existence of such know-how is vitally important to optimize the use of our human resources and the development of high added  value products, therefore allowing the creation of wealth inside the country.
Although from diverse scientific areas, our scientific background as well as our technological skills have allowed us to establish a multidisciplinary team highly motivated  to achieve and meet the proposed objectives.

CURRICULUM

Orlando Reis P. de Oliveira
Academic Qualifications:
MSc in Engineering Physics, with Applied Nuclear Physics specialisation by Faculty of Science, University of Lisbon.
Additional Training:
Design and installation of solar thermal systems – Certificate of Professional Competence (CAP) as a Solar Thermal Systems Installation Technician by INETI (National Institute of Engineering, Technology and Innovation); Design and installation of hydronic radiant floors;
Grundfos' Installer Certification;
Welding and brazing of non-ferrous metals and of ferrous metals; Mechanical lathes and three axis milling machines operating; Manual tools operating;
Design and construction of electric and electronic circuits; Design and construction of optical, mechanical and thermodynamic systems; Strong knowledge of operating systems including Microsoft Windows, word processing and spreadsheet software, image processing and computer-aided design software and other kinds of software.

Pedro Oliveira
Academic Qualifications:
Postgraduate degree in Remote Sensing, Surveying Engineering by the Faculty of Science, University Of Porto.
Additional Training:
Design and installation of solar thermal systems – Certificate of Professional Competence (CAP) as a Solar Thermal Systems Installation Technician by INETI (National Institute of Engineering, Technology and Innovation);
Grundfos' Installer Certification;
Network administration, communication solutions, security, databases and remote access; Hardware e software solutions; Analogue electronics.
